Food is incredibly delicious and service utmost polite and efficient..Will be back!

We were visiting Niagara on the Lake as part of a family reunion. 13 of us were there for lunch. Service was painfully slow with no valid excuse. Our group was large and there were other occupied tables outside, but the crown inside was sparse. Food was decent, nothing special, though after an hour wait our mood may have been affected. That said, it was a gorgeous day and the outdoor seating was largely protected from wind and sun.

Cute deli/bakery. Friendly staff. Freshly prepared deli sandwiches to eat-in or go and lots of really tempting treats.

During the Covid 19 pandemic this lovely restaurant offered curb side ordering. The food we bought was fantastic. Good quality flavourful food. It was delightful sitting on a bench outside in the sunshine eating and enjoying the beautiful flowers.

Stopped for dinner- staff was friendly & attentive. Food took slightly longer than expected but was delicious, well prepared & visually very appealing. Would recommend

Went there for breakfast, enjoyed the atmosphere! I loved the potatoes, had an eggs florentine, eggs benedict and the french toast. Servers were attentive and really enjoyed the coffee. It was lively, the parade was going on and had an opportunity to sit near the windows to watch on a cold day. Would come back again.

Service was a bit slow and the food was passable. Food seats at the front to watch the crowds pass by.

poor environment, poor choice of music. Fruit flies are all around the place. Taste is moderate, a little overpriced.

This place has great food at a great price! Love the atmosphere as well. Shiraz was our waitress and she was very friendly and helpful!

We stopped in for lunch today. Great food, exceptional service. Ended up staying for a few hours and had coffee afterward. Very welcoming atmosphere and will definitely be back.

Service was terrible. When taking drinks the waitress asked the men what we wanted and didn't ask anyone else at the table. Very expensive meals. The Caesar salad was flavourless. The children's cheeseburgers were raw on the inside. The manager comped the burgers and salad but overall the experience was very poor. I would not recommend this place and will not go back.

I ordered for in person take out last weekend, it was supposed to be a tuna tataki (lightly seared tuna) wrap. The tuna was completely cooked and dry, canned tuna would have been better and the whole wrap was soaked in the sauce. When I ordered I specified just the wrap and paid 18$... they ended up charging me for wrap + fries and didn't realize at time of payment. But the cherry on the top is that I have been stomach sick for 2 days after eating that wrap. I question the freshness of the products.I know I will never return there since I was simply visiting the area but just wanted to share for the ones reading at reviews before eating at a place.

We had lunch here today. I ordered the chicken avocado wrap, it came with a side of fries and house salad. The salad was ok, some parts of the salad greens was yellow, the dressing was good (raspberry vinegrette). The wrap was ok, not great for the price -$20...Also no refills on pop/soda, you have to pay. Other than that the atmosphere was pleasant.

The large patio is likely the summer attraction here. You can come for a drink and spend half a day enjoying the summer. The light music, good food and dedicated service make the stay very enjoyable. Only thing in the way is the $$$ price.

Beautiful patio away from the busy road truly tranquil. Food is always good ... love their pastas ! Service is really friendly you can tell them genuinely care about your stay. Had the sangria and it was kinda gross tasting. Had a weird flavour and it was kinda watery with not really any fruits .. definitely needs improvement. My go to spot though when I visit Niagara !

We met a couple of friends at The Epicurean for lunch today. I really enjoyed the greek salad with grilled salmon. The service was excellent!

We started the day, originally, attempting to get into another restaurant. That didn't happen, due to the exceptionally long wait. We couldn't have asked for better happenstance. We arrived to a fantastic atmosphere. The seats were plush. The tables weren't crowded. The restaurant interior was warm and inviting. Staff assisted as much as possible. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. A must visit if you're in the area.

FLIES! Too many that we were able to catch it! 🤮Rude server, didn't even apologize. She started taking our plates without asking when we showed her the fly. We are almost done but we feel rushed when she cleared our table and brought the bill that we didn't ask. We looked for the manager but "she was the manager" even if she doesn't look like one.We were nice and just wanted an explanation. But she just stopped us from talking and said that she will take out the soup. That was not what we wanted. We just want an explanation and "customer service" that she obviously doesn't know.This place is a casual dining restaurant but fast food places would have a better "customer service".This was few weeks ago.

Food was delicious, service a little bit slow but what I did not really like was that the bathrooms did not have a changing station. It's not a family oriented restaurant.

The service from our waiter was truly exceptional. Very attentive. Such a cute ambiance on the terrasse. The food was very good. Highly recommend the Lamb Chops. Absolutely delicious.

The lamb shank was great and the service was top notch. Our server Christina was friendly, attentive and made helpful suggestions. I ordered Christina’s recommendations and I’m glad I did! Thanks for the terrific service!

My dad, my sister and I had the greatest of experiences at The Epicurean. The service was impeccable, the food was quickly served and perfectly prepared and the prices were fair. I had a Pasta Carbonara which had a rich creamy flavour and a French Onion soup that could have had a bit more cheese in it. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Niagara on the Lake for the first time.

Just loved this place! It was recommended by a friend and it loved up to its Glory.

Paid $24 for a BLT bc I didn't get the pea meal sandwich. A 4 dollar substitution .We went for brunch as the pictures depicted a breakfast menu. They ended their "brunch " at h11:00. We had reservations for 11:30. There were no "end" times posted on the website. It was a Sunday. The burger was like "from frozen" or at least the taste /quality. was. Server was not very knowledgeable and stated that the kitchen was not amenable to changes. It was a BLT sandwich for goodness sakes! Almost a $100 for 3 people with 3 coffees and no cocktails! Definitely, would NOT recommend! !!

I go to The Epicurian every year I go to the Shaw Festival. Today the service was really bad. Pretty much every server today was not in a good mood. First, we waited for over an hour for our food. When we asked the served said "You still have 45 minutes before the show starts, don't worry". We got the food and prettu much had to inhale it. Then when they were cleaning our table the server asked us to pass her our plates...I know it sounds like a little complaint but I found it odd. Next year we will look for a different place to have lunch before the show.

Had the worst lasagna ever. It was sickenly sweet. Not Italian. I should know. Been there before and the food was good but we told them and they didn't offer to do anything. Not the way to this gain customers.

The food was good and plentiful and priced like everyone else in Niagara-on-the-Lake BUT and I think it says a lot about a place, I had a virgin Arnold Palmer (1/2 lemonade and 1/2 ice tea) and was charged $6.50. If I would have ordered either product on its own it would have been $4.50. They are taking advantage of their customers on this and what else? Won't go again 😏

Dinner was great

Such a lovely restaurant in the heart of Niagara on the Lake. We had originally planned on going to another restaurant on our date night, the only night we had in the region, but with reports of storms in the area, that other restaurant closed down. It was disappointing considering there ended up being no storm, but also, a lot of places were closed due to covid. Lucky we found this little gem, just slightly hidden off the main strip. The service was welcoming and quick. The food was certainly great, with what tasted like local fresh ingredients.I would recommend this place and would happily go again.

Amazing food! We went to some very expensive restaurants while at Niagara Falls, then we went to Niagara on the lake and found this place. Everything was delicious, best food we had all weekend. The mussels were so incredible that we got a second order instead of dessert.

Food is delicious and the restaurant was pet friendly unlike the other restaurants in the area. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting the city

Nice patio at the back of the restaurant. The staff is amazing and very friendly.. The food is average but a bit pricey understandably since it's Niagara on the lake. Biggest drawback is a lck of selection in food on the lunch menu. Still would return for a cold beer!

Food was rather good. Tastes fine and presented very nice. Unfortunately service was ridiculously slow. We did feel ignored and forgotten all the time. And it even was not a busy time.It was so bad that considering overall experience I would rather go grab a bite at McDonald’s or at gas station.

The restaurant is nice inside. The waitress named Tania was not friendly, because probably we didn't order wine. I know it's summer and the restaurants are looking for the waitresses, but being nice not for only your tip is gonna help the restaurant to grow.At the end, after 10 minutes or more waiting, she didn't even come to get the POS back, we torn the paper and gave hers with the machine to the reception.The fish and chips was great but I took spaghetti carbonara and the sauce was based on milk and not parmesan, so it was so heavy, I didn't like it.
